All persons listed are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges can be amended or dismissed.) *** Sunday, March 27 *A red-haired floozy was flashing her belly, cussing at traffic, and flipping off vehicles in the 100 block of N. Redwood Hwy. at 9:13 a.m. She appeared to be under the influence, but Oregon State Police (OSP) had no units in the area. *Some thief stole a brown 1988 Ford Bronco from the 500 block of Schumacher Street over- night. *A fuel line was cut in the 500 block of E. River Street. (Did they need gas for the Bronco?) *At 11:01 a.m. the same au- burn air-head was propped against a dumpster, kicking at traffic in the 100 block of N. Redwood Hwy. Jenny Gwen Thomas, 44, was ar- rested and charged with disorderly conduct at 11:55 a.m. On her ride to Josephine County Jail, the disturbed woman became combative, banging her head against the cage and spit- ting at the windows. *So far, there have been 42 hang-up calls to 911 from the woman in the 2400 block of Rocky- dale Road. (No, that will not merit 42 blurbs in the blotter.) *The driver of a white Ford Taurus was cited for driving on a suspended license, driving while uninsured and failure to renew registration during a vehicle stop on Redwood Hwy. at Deer Creek Road at 12:03 p.m. *A sweet, mixed-breed female dog with a deep gash under her jaw bone was running around S. Red- wood Hwy. for a few days. The guy who runs the blanket stand was fi- nally able to catch her, and the poor pooch was taken to animal control for treatment. *Marital discord raised its ugly head for a couple from Ridge Vista Drive. The I-Don’ts are now learning about restraining orders, community property and custody issues. (Please, keep it civil for the sake of the kids.) *A skinny bull was running in the roadway of Hwy. 199 at mile- post 32 at 2:20 p.m. The owner was on the way to bring the bony bovine home. *An abandoned vehicle has been tagged to be towed away from the 200 block of Ollis Road because it has been parked there for nearly a month. *The S.O.S. roof motion detector sounded at 3:44 p.m. in the 200 block of S. Redwood Hwy. Employees checked and there was no one inside. Everything appeared secure following a visual inspection of the rooftop from the ground. Outside the Valley *Logged incidents total 13. Monday, March 28 *Surveillance data was obtained from the 500 block of E. River Street at 10:49 a.m. *A stolen vehicle in the 2500 block of Waldo Road was recovered at 11:10 a.m. It was missing a tire on the rear passenger side. Breakfield was charged with possession of meth, carrying a concealed weapon and felon in possession of a restricted weapon. *An out-of-state mother was concerned because she hadn’t spoken to her 5-year-old child for two days, and the father was refus- ing to allow contact to occur. The worried mom phoned for help from Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO). (Never mess with a mama bear and her cubs.) *Teed-off men and women were fighting with golf clubs in the 100 block of Hussey Avenue at 1:28 p.m. Although it was obvious that there was some kind of disturbance, no one was willing to make a com- plaint. (That’s par for the course.) *Investigation continued at Taylor’s at 1:36 p.m. *Graffiti covered the stage area as well as the east side of the bathrooms at Jubilee Park. A tran- sient’s Facebook admission targets him as a suspect. A report was filed for second-degree mischief on this misguided attempt to memorialize his recently-deceased friend. *At 4:31 p.m. some clown wearing a red hat was riding a yel- low quad in the skate park at Jubilee Park. *Remember the vehicle that was tagged to be towed from the 200 block of Ollis Road? Well, they meant it. Jerry’s Tow did their job at 5:26 p.m. *A woman in the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy. complained that her hackster husband was send- ing menacing emails and Face- book postings to her friends and to himself, and making it look like they were from her. This was an unfounded restraining order viola- tion, and she was advised to change her passwords on her Facebook and email accounts. Outside the Valley *There were 19 logged items.
