A woman OP complained that when stopped off the pavement in the block of Westside Road, someone “shined a green laser light into her windows and kept it there as she drove away so it was impossible for her to see in the dark.” ater, she said, a woman OP posted on her Facebook page that she was the one who did it and that if she came onto her property again she’d do it again. he complainant is worried that it’s a safety hazard, while people are driving, to have a laser light shined at them. er now homeless ex-boyfriend, said a woman both OP on W. River Street, entered her home without permission while she was away and took items, and “verbally threatened her with bodily harm if she didn’t pay him some cash.” A report was pending on first-degree burglary and second-degree theft by extortion. Some mari uana was found, and the person was advised to report to his probation officer the next week. he driver OP of a vehicle on urch Drive was warned for speeding. n the block of Deer Creek Road an RO was served, and the deputy also seized a permit to carry a concealed weapon. t was reported that the driver of a silver-and- red-colored pickup truck was weaving in and out of traffic in Downtown Cave Junction, and headed north on Redwood wy. either the driver nor the rig were located. Oregon State Police notified JCSO that a silver- colored car had been driven into a tree near the dam on akeshore Drive. o one was around, and the engine was cold. A newspaper vending machine owned by the “Del orte riplicate” was removed from in front of My Place Cafe in Cave Junction. he newspaper manager said the machine cost usually had around bucks in change in the coin box and likely was taken on Dec. or . Domestic violence was reported by a woman OP on Dick eorge Road, who said that her ex-boyfriend OP grabbed one of her wrists and pushed her after kicking in the front door. She plans to renew the RO she had. Damage to his vehicle was noticed by a resident of Watkins Street. he person OP believes that it happened in Cave Junction on Dec. on one of two parking lots. When a tree-trimming crew hired by Pacific Power went to an address on W. River Street, a woman who didn’t want any cutting threatened to get a rifle. he crew left before that happened, and it is noted that the trees are uite close to primary power lines. he driver OP of a vehicle stopped at akilma Dick eorge roads was “trespassed” from an address on olland oop, and might have been using a vehicle that’s not his. And he might not have a license. A motorist OP stopped in CJ was cited on a charge of not having an operator’s license. A deputy gave him a ride home and I.V. Another motorist OP was cited on charges of driving while suspended and not having insurance at Redwood wy. and ister Street, and warned for a defective side-light and not having a front license plate. he vehicle was impounded. Saturday, Jan. 17 *Two reports of theft at the same CJ business were reported, and the complainant states that the culprits are known. *Many items were reported stolen from the city of CJ’s wastewater treatment plant in a burglary said to have occurred on Jan. . he operator OP of a vehicle in Downtown CJ was warned for lacking a license and for having a defective brake light. Someone OP crashed a vehicle on . River Street. A witness said that the driver hid in bushes and was carrying away stuff. Outside the Valley ike log items.
