On Saturday, June 18, the salmon ceremony will return to Southern Oregon at Kanaka flats In Ruch, Ore., just below the Applegate Dam. Hosted by the Grants Pass Intertribal Powwow Committee, the ceremony welcomes the Salmon People returning to local waters as practiced in traditional tribal rituals.
