Met a man at Watershed meetings in 1992 and 1993. His suggestion was to burn all the forests and plant alfalfa. Put all the river water on the hay fields and raise sheep. The carbon dioxide would make the hay grow. He said “we don’t need fish and game”. All the people that are fishermen or hunters could get rid of their guns and boats and make a for- tune raising sheep and hay. He claims to be a sci- entist but he got fired from his job for falsifying a re- port about vitamin C. Oregon is one of the few states without nuclear pow- er because we have hydro- electric. Japan wishes they didn’t have nuclear power. He and his three kids are nuclear scientists. I hope they have no plans for Oregon. Once I met him shop- ping in Grants Pass. He was still wearing knee-high rub- ber boots. Peter DeFazio doesn’t need any B.S. boots. I will vote for whoever runs against Art Robinson even if it isn’t an Italian.
