The city of CJ was to be contacted. *When a deputy checked several vehicles and people at the top of Hay’s Hill at 11:54 a.m., it turned out that they had stopped to take a break. *Robert Lloyd Speck, 42, was cited on a charge of offen- sive littering on Lone Mt. No one seemed to know his parents or guardian. A report was pending on endan- gering the welfare of a minor. *Concern about a woman who didn’t show up for work since Monday on Holland Loop ended when she made contact with the complainant. *At 3:50 p.m. on Warren Road, a mother said that she’d been looking for her son, 3, who had been playing in their yard since 3 p.m. She was put in contact with DHS. *Three guns were reported stolen from a Hummingbird Road address. The complaint said the suspect has been ar- rested on meth charges. Missing were a hand gun, a rifle, and a shotgun. *After a mother put her young child into a “time out,” he “got upset” and took off down Caves Hwy. He was lo- cated 17 minutes later. *Approximately six peo- ple, all intoxicated, were hang- ing around a Downtown CJ business and “running custom- ers off” at 4:10 p.m. All but one went across the street. The com- plainant wanted them warned, and asked for extra patrol. *A DHS worker com- plained about not being able to contact a woman on Warren Road, but subsequently contact was made. Saturday, June 4 *Rebecca C. Jones, 34, was cited on a charge of no operator’s license at 12:28 a.m. at E. River Street and Old Stage Road. *A horse in the middle of Hwy. 199 at O’Brien Road was reported at 5:55 a.m. It was gone when a deputy arrived, and no evidence was left. *Adam Martin Miller, 16, was cited on charges of careless driving and violation of the basic rule (VBR)/driving too fast for conditions. He was warned for not having his li- cense with him. A deputy said that he was driving 94 mph in a 55 zone at 7:37 a.m. at Hwy. 199 and Airport Drive. *Someone kicked in a glass door at Valley Farm & Garden, causing approximately $250 damage. It appeared that nothing had been taken. *People were drinking alcoholic beverages on his property on Rough and Ready Creek Road, a man said. The complainant said that “fingerprints were all over the equipment.” Friday, June 3 *Juvenile people were seen removing construction supplies from a Deer Creek Road site. One boy was contacted, and he denied allegations. The com- plainant declined to press charges *Her 13-year-old son was last seen in Grants Pass, said a CJ mother. She believes he is a member of the Young Bloods gang, and possibly with a mem- ber the same age, who always carries a .45. *Following a trespassing complaint in the 5000 block of Lakeshore Drive, a woman was warned. A civil compromise was reached, and her stuff was to be left at a store for retrieval. *Described as “an elderly male,” a driver in a van was said to be weaving and nearly caused two head-on collisions on Hwy. 199 near Selma at 12:54 p.m. *The possibility that rela- tives stole his $270 binoculars was noted by a Selma man. *Two men in county jail fought. One refused medical aid; the other was going to be referred to the D.A. for a possi- ble assault charge. *Contact with a man who was “highly intoxicated” the night before was requested at Lake Selmac. *No crime was detected after a complaint of trespassing on Lone Mt. Road. The situa- tion was termed “a disagree- ment over parenting styles.” *Burglary and damage to two gates was listed in the 7000 block of Rockydale Road. *Two people conducted a verbal disturbance near I.V. Golf Course at 5:27 p.m. *Trespassing on Eight Dollar Mt. Road was reported, apparently in connection with someone picking up a child. *Jessie Dale Vultaggio, 20, was cited for no operator’s li- cense on Hwy. 199 in O’Brien. *Sarah Anne Erickson, 27, was cited in Selma on a charge of following too closely. *At 7:42 p.m. an officer checked a vehicle near the Eight Dollar Bridge. No one was around, and it was not a hazard. *Today and during other days in this report, deputies in Illinois Valley warned a num- ber of motorists for infractions including impeding traffic, speeding, failure to signal, driv- ing too fast for conditions, and failure to have a license with them. Also, some were told they had defective equipment. *A weaving, possibly in- toxicated driver at Caves Hwy. and Holland Loop was reported at 9:42 p.m. *Evette Carie Garcia, 23, was cited at Lake Selmac on charges of lacking a driver’s license and insurance. Thursday, June 2 *“Community Oriented Policing” (COP) was conducted at Jubilee Park at 12:40 a.m. *Near I.V. High School at 12:41 a.m., a 20-year-old driver was warned for not using head lights and speeding. *COP was logged at Lorna Byrne school at 12:46 a.m. *Two young men under- went field interrogation at 12:48 a.m. on Hwy. 46, a short dis- tance east of Hwy. 199. *Melissa Renee Mason, 34, was cited on a charge of driving while suspended (DWS) and failure to dim high beams at Hwy. 46 and Caves Hwy. at 12:55 a.m. *Theft of a .32 pistol val- ued at $500 was reported on S.
