CJ CROSSWALKS RENEWED - Workers from the Oregon Dept. of Transportation
perform routine maintenance to replace crosswalk reflection strips on Redwood
Hwy. in Cave Junction on Wednesday, April 28. Using a large torch, workers heated
the strips until they began to ‘melt’ and permanently stick to the pavement, making
it easier for motorists and pedestrians to see the crossings. (Photo by Shane Welsh)

The Sixth Sunday of
Easter comes just before
the Ascension of our Lord
into Heaven.
The Gospel of John
prepares us for the coming
event.
A few passages from
Revelation, Chapter 21,
will be read to remind us
to be hopeful, not fearful,
while we follow the light
of Christ leading us to the
new Jerusalem.
