CJ CROSSWALKS RENEWED - Workers from the Oregon Dept. of Transportation perform routine maintenance to replace crosswalk reflection strips on Redwood Hwy. in Cave Junction on Wednesday, April 28. Using a large torch, workers heated the strips until they began to ‘melt’ and permanently stick to the pavement, making it easier for motorists and pedestrians to see the crossings. (Photo by Shane Welsh) St. Patrick of the Forest Catholic Church The Sixth Sunday of Easter comes just before the Ascension of our Lord into Heaven. The Gospel of John prepares us for the coming event.
