But Jesus was flesh and blood, and had a long line of rela- tives stretching back to King David. He was bap- tized and resurrected from the dead -- and we have these same opportunities, if only we believe in him. Church activities in- clude Sunday, Jan. 18, 9 a.m. worship; 10:15 a.m. brunch and annual Congre- gational Meeting. St. Patrick of the Forest Catholic Church Sunday will begin a week of prayer for Chris- tian Unity. The familiar reading from John’s Gos- pel, chapter 2, regarding the wedding feast at Cana will kick off the week. Generally at a wedding celebration among family and guests, you can find members of many different denominations. They are united at that time to join the bride and bridegroom in making the day memo- rable. Ways to reduce mois- ture problems before they become mold problems are suggested by the Environ- mental Protection Agency: *Fix leaks and seepage as soon as possible. *Watch for condensa- tion and wet spots, and fix the source immediately. *Use fans in bath- rooms and kitchens to re- move moisture. *Vent appliances, such as clothes dryers, to the outside of homes. *Don’t let foundations stay wet. Provide drainage and slope the ground away from the foundation. Tuesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Closed Sunday & Monday 592-3228 355 Caves Hwy.
