Charges can be amended or dismissed.) *** Tuesday, Dec. 23 *A highly intoxicated man in the 2600 block of Caves Hwy. said he had been received verbal threats from a woman. *A woman in the 500 block of Caves Hwy. said that a man had been driv- ing by her residence, yell- ing and honking his horn. The man had been arrested previously for violating a stalking order, and had been harassing the com- plainant since then. *JoCo sheriff’s depu- ties and OSP responded to a non-injury MVA which damaged a telephone pole, causing phone lines to hang low over the high- way. The phone company was notified of the urgency of the situation. *A woman in the 100 block of Laurie lane re- quested a welfare check on an elderly neighbor who had not answered the tele- phone for a few days. Deputies found the man unconscious in his home, and he was transported to TRH. *Frankie J. Navarro, 24, was arrested on charges of fourth degree assault in connection with a case of domestic vio- lence. Danny Lopez, 20, was cited for not having a valid operators permit dur- ing a traffic stop in the 33000 block of Redwood Hwy. *Approximately $3000 worth of items were re- moved from a garage in the 100 block of Warren road. The man who re- ported the theft believes his tenant is responsible. *A man was report- edly staggering in the roadway in the 17000 block of Redwood Hwy at 12:38p.m. A deputy no- ticed a male hitchhiker in the area who appeared to be fine. *In the 200 block of West Watkins street, a man said someone had stolen a taillight lens cover from his pickup. Value was listed at $100. *One person was transported to TRH after a two-vehicle MVA on Red- wood Hwy. near Hogue drive at 5:34 p.m. *A repo man informed deputies of his activity in the 100 block of South Boundary avenue at 5:54 p.m. *Deputies were unable to locate persons responsi- ble for fireworks in the 1000 block of Illinois River road. Damage was estimated at $50. *Theft of a guitar from an unlocked vehicle, which occurred Dec.13, was re- ported at 9:43a.m. Value of the guitar was listed at $400. *Someone reported hearing gun shots in the 400 block of Taurus lane at 12:25p.m. *A woman reported receiving harassing phone calls at 4:41p.m. *Arthur Dustin DiFu- ria, 28, was arrested on a charge of DWS and his vehicle impounded during a traffic stop in which he was also warned for failure to stop, defective equip- ment, and no insurance or registration. *A woman in the 100 block of south Sawyer Ave. said someone was firing a pellet gun and it was striking her house at 7:47p.m. *A driver was warned for VBR during a traffic stop at Redwood Hwy and Draper Valley road at 7:49 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27 *John Robert Ragsdale, 43, was warned for VBR and cited for DWSI during a traffic stop in the 100 block of Deer Creek road at 12:26 a.m. *Walter Britt Phillips, 43, was warned for VBR and cited to appear on a charge of DWS during a traffic stop on Caves Hwy. near Redwood Hwy. at 1:30 a.m. *A driver was warned for an obscured rear li- cense plate and defective license plate light during a traffic stop on Redwood Hwy. near Rockydale road at 3:20 a.m. *Deputies responded to a flue fire in the 11000 block of Takilma road at 11:11 a.m. *A private investigator with a faulty cell for in- formed the Sheriff’s Office that he was tailing some- one at Lake Selmac at 1:14 p.m. *A man requested a welfare check on his check his children.
