(Photos by Sam Newton) Monday, Sept. 29 *Six miles up Illinois River Road deputies said three men were seen fleeing the area where several items were missing from a man’s vehicle including speakers, $110, a skateboard, rented DVDs and a wallet. The listed total value of the loss was $420. *In the 100 block of S. Redwood Hwy. a business owner said someone dumped items in front of her store. *A woman in the 300 block of Grouse Creek Road said someone ran into her fence with a vehicle causing $400 damage. *A woman said two women and a man were fight- ing on Caves Avenue. Depu- ties arrested Robert W. Wendover, 26, on a charge of fourth-degree domestic as- sault. *In the 4300 block of Dick George Road a woman said a woman with Alz- heimer’s disease wandered over to her house. River Street James Alan Nel- son, 34, was cited on a charge of driving while suspended. *At Jubilee Park a woman said she heard some- one being slapped. Deputies Page 7 said some youngsters were playing basketball and left after being advised about park hours. *In the 22000 block of Redwood Hwy. a citizen said someone shot a gun and may have been poaching a deer.
