Charges can be amended or dismissed.) * * * Tuesday, April 29 *In the 33000 block of Redwood Hwy. a woman thought she heard someone on her roof. *What was thought to be a structure fire in the 35000 block of Redwood Hwy., turned out to be an unattended burn pile that had flared up. *The boyfriend of a woman in an adult foster care home in the 8600 block of Takilma Road, was reported by the woman’s son to be har- assing her. *In the 23000 block of Redwood Hwy. a man re- ported that someone had re- moved $200 worth of circuit breakers from his residence without permission. *Sarah Ann Adams, 16, and Douglas Dwyne Hedrick, 19, were cited on charges of third degree theft at Shop Smart Food Warehouse, and then released. *A man who was reported to be highly intoxicated was driving towards the Oregon Caves. *In the 5000 block of Westside Road a landlord was worried about a tenant. Wednesday, April 30 *There was a welfare check on a person in the 200 block of Iron Way. *In the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy. a woman re- ported that someone had at- tempted to take her vehicle without permission. *Someone was worried that a tanker truck parked in front of Lorna Byrne Middle School might contain hazard- ous materials. Turns out the truck was there as part of ca- reer day. *There was the potential for a property line dispute in the 28000 block of Redwood Hwy. *In the 300 block of N. Hussey Avenue a woman re- ported that someone had at- tempted to enter her residence, as she found a screen removed from a window when she got home. *A mother reported that three people of unknown age held down her 11-year-old son and shoved soap in his mouth for “mouthing off.” The boy was not injured during the attack. *There was a domestic dispute reported in the 500 block of Crooks Creek Road. *An employee at Dr. Joe’s Pet Hospital accidentally set off the alarm at 9:41 p.m. *In the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy. a mom re- ported her daughter as a run- away. *In the 500 block of Schumacher Avenue a woman reported being harassed by her neighbor who she believes is a registered sex offender. *In the 31000 block of Redwood Hwy. a man was worried about a juvenile who had run from a Grants Pass juvenile detention center. Thursday, May 1 *There was a large vehi- cle fire at Redwood Hwy. and Kenrose Lane. *A man in the 600 block of Lakeshore Drive reported that a woman was selling property which belonged to him. *In the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy. a woman complained that someone had made 900 calls on her phone. *A man flipped off a woman and was yelling at her at Redwood Hwy. and Rocky- dale Road. *Someone reported a man passing out near the Select Market parking lot. *There was a tenant / landlord dispute in the 17000 block of Redwood Hwy. *There was a non-injury traffic accident in the 100 block of S. Redwood Hwy. *Two highly intoxicated men were found in the 300 block of S. Redwood Hwy. *Bryan James French, 26, was cited on charges of driv- ing while suspended (DWS), no proof of insurance, and failure to display Oregon plates in the 100 block of N. Redwood Hwy. at 8:42 p.m. *The alarm sounded when the front window of C.J. Ra- dio Shack & Video Mart was broken at 9:34 p.m. Friday, May 2 *In the 600 block of E. River Street, a male juvenile runaway was reported to be hiding in the bushes. *In the 2000 block of Laurel Road a woman com- plained that ex-tenants were harassing her by driving by and yelling. *A stolen vehicle was re- covered in the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy. *A city of Cave Junction employee reported several things being taken from a city truck, including a chainsaw, at Lister Street and N. Caves Avenue. *In the 23000 block of Redwood Hwy. a woman re- ported someone driving a red sports car at 90 miles per hour. *The dispute between a landlord and tenant continued in the 17000 block of Red- wood Hwy. *Daniel Ross Heise Jr, 33, was cited on charges of viola- tion of the basic rule (VBR) and no proof of insurance at Redwood Hwy. and Reeves Creek Road at 5:39 p.m. *In the 400 block of W. Lister Street a woman was fearful that her neighbor had shot his dog for making noise. The dog was found to be just fine in his back yard. *Someone reported peo- Page 7 ple drinking in the Selma Se- lect parking lot at 8:41 p.m. *There was a suspicious vehicle reported in the C.J.
