Editor’s note: The Chairman’s Report will resume in a future issue of Siletz News . Celebration at Table Rocks On behalf of the Tribal Council, we want to extend our gratitude and appreciation to all of our team mem- bers that hosted the celebration at Table Rocks on May 31, 2025. It was a time to celebrate, share stories and reflect with family and friends as we bring this historically significant land back in to tribal stewardship. The celebration was well attended with guest speakers, a shared meal and dancing. This year’s celebration took the place of the annual Run to the Rogue, but it will return next year. National Congress of American Indians Executive Assistant to Tribal Council, Celesta Lee and I attended the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) mid-year conference June 9-11. The conference provided updates on federal policy actions that are affecting all tribes. Members of NCAI discussed impacts to education and head start funding, natural resources, DOJ – violence against women funding, broadband and many other issues. The Siletz administration and program managers are monitoring policy and funding changes closely, providing our feedback and describ- ing impacts to local, state and federal policy makers every chance we can. This will be a priority for the Admin- istration and we will share impacts to the membership as things develop. Graduations Congratulations to all the 2025 graduates!
