I am graduating from the clinical social work master’s program at Walla Walla University in College Place, Wash. “In this rigorous program, I’ve taken courses geared toward providing mental health therapy. Courses included Human Behavior and Social Environment, Policy and Advocacy, Advanced Groups Psycho- therapy, Advanced Individual, Advanced Clinical Practice and Therapy, Theory and Modalities, Marriage and Family Therapy, Religion & Spirituality in Social Work, Research, Cultural Competence and Trauma Informed Practices. “Upon graduation, my future plans involve providing strengths-based, cultur- ally sensitive therapy services to people of all ages and need, as there is such a high need for mental health healing in our state.” Ryan King University of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine Ryan King graduated from the Univer- sity of South Dakota, Sanford School of Medicine on May 3. He begins a four-year anesthesia residency at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Fla., on July 1. He’s the grandson of Mary Johnson Grabert. I’m so proud of you, son!
