Bella Christensen
Siletz Valley School
Bella’s plans were to attend college
to become a clinical psychologist, but
with the Covid19 shutdown, that is on
hold for now.
She started a job and likes what she
does because she gets to interact with
people. She has great skills dealing with
people and is not fearful or intimidated by
talking to anyone.
She has worked very hard to finish
school and I am so very proud of her. She
has blossomed into a beautiful young lady.
I know that whatever she wants in life, she
will make it happen!
Congratulations, Bella! I love you so
very much.

Nation Native American Studies. He plans
to go to graduate school in public adminis-

something that interests him as well. If not
that, then some sort of governance.

being a UISHE (United Indian Students
in Higher Education) coordinator for two
years, co-president of AISES (American
Indian Science and Engineering Society)
for four years, Healing Feathers advocate
for four years, mentor for NATIONS

PSU Miss Naimuma Pow-Wow is held
each year.

Cameron plans to go into nursing in
the fall, following in the footsteps of her
grandma, Terry Hosford.

graduate schools in the fall for a doctorate
of physical therapy.
Paige Lane
Oregon State University
Paige Lane, daughter of Erica Patten
and Nolan Lane, has graduated with a
double major in public health manage-
ment & policy and human development
& family sciences.
It wasn’t until her sophomore year that
Paige chose to push herself even further by
pursuing a second degree with OSU. In
order to stay on track and graduate with two
degrees in four years, Paige added summer
classes to her already busy schedule.
While maintaining above a 3.5 GPA
each term, Paige was also a highly
involved member of a campus sorority,
where she participated in a wide variety
of volunteer work and philanthropy events
throughout the community.
She is a first generation member of
her family to obtain a college degree and
after graduation she plans to attend gradu-
ate school to pursue a master’s of social
work to become a licensed social worker
in a health care facility.
