Graduates! Amber Dawn Jordan Eastern Oregon University She earned a bachelor’s degree of applied science in business adminis- tration, with a minor in anthropology/ sociology, concentration in leadership, organization and management. She plans to seek employment to gain relevant expe- rience in her field. Chalene Raymond University of Oregon She earned a bachelor’s degree in educational foundations. She will attend a teacher training master’s program and is grateful for all the Tribal support she received as an undergraduate. Alana Medicine Crow Congratulations to Tribal member Alana Medicine Crow, who graduated June 14. She plans to continue toward a master’s of social work in the fall. Alana volunteered as a math tutor, ESOL teacher and participated in the Vote or Vote program. She won awards for queer studies, women’s studies and earned a focus award for grant writing. Alana also does volunteer work with homeless shelters and the suicide preven- tion hotline. She’s Siletz, Crow Creek Sioux, Grand Ronde and Pawnee. Aiyanna Brown Lane Community College She earned an associate degree in general studies. She is employed as a cook at Creswell Bakery and plans to build a career in the culinary industry.
