Sitting here watching the day-
break, eating applesauce, toast with
butter and coffee (yum, yum, yum)
brings me back to when I was a
little girl and Dad (Alton I. Butler,
Bones, Smokey) would take me to
Auntie Ada’s so she could babysit
me while he went fern picking or
peeling chittum.
I remember auntie would sit me
down at a little table and bring me
peaches, toast with butter and milk.
It tasted so good (yum, yum, yum).
I miss my daddy and my aunties.

Note: You do not win the tipi. The drawing is only for a stay in the tipi
