Nayson attentively listened to her talking and showing pictures. She talked about her experience and what is up-and-coming for space exploration. For example, companies are investing in science experiments in space because it takes half the time to make the product in space. Also, companies are launching mini- satellites and working with NASA. When it came time for questions at the end of the lecture, Nayson raised his little hand in the huge university lecture hall. He asked Mrs. Lawrence if there was cake in space. The people in the room chuckled (so did Nay and I) and Mrs. Lawrence, with a smile on her face, said there was not cake in space but she wishes there was. This was an hour presentation, and Nay and many children in the crowd were glued to every word just like the university students were. After we left, Nayson said he wants to be an astronaut, police officer and pilot. I say to Nayson and all children - reach for the stars!
