products for nearly 14 years. I have been
smoke free now for over 10 years, and
living a healthier way of life has become
my new passion. I look forward to working
with the community and starting my new
adventure.”
Jenifer Metcalf: Harm Reduction Outreach Specialist
“Most of you know who I am. I am currently in a different department with the Siletz Tribe. I have a combi-
nation of 12 plus years in Substance Abuse Prevention, Case Management, and Peer Recovery Counseling.
The new position I serve is called Harm Reduction Outreach Specialist. This position will focus on hard-
to-reach individuals who are at risk for HIV/STIs. The geographical location for me is Siletz only. I will be
mapping out where the homeless camps are and navigating a way to assist them with resources as well as
reducing the risk of HIV/STIs. Our purpose: To end new HIV cases in Oregon.”
Kim Lane: CARE Program Coordinator
“I am a graduate of PSU’s Child and Family Studies
program. I have been with the CARE Program for
almost 3 years. I travel our 11 county service area
providing direct services to survivors. I spend my self
-care time with my husband, playing board games &
reading.“
Kira Woosley: CARE Program Outreach
“I have been with the CARE Program for the last three
years. I love working with Siletz youth, learning about
healthy relationships, respect and self confidence. I
am grateful for the opportunity I have to work with
survivors of trauma in support groups and community
wellness activities.”
Delina John: Sexual Assault Advocate
“After serving with gratitude for the last 15 years in
the Behavioral Health program I made the decision to
move from being a Substance Abuse Counselor to the
new Sexual Assault Advocate for the CARE Program, I
have always had a passion to work with women, help-
ing them in their journey of healing, I am blessed to have
this opportunity to learn new and great ways to be Trauma In-
formed, so that I may best serve all that I come in contact with. I
am thankful to my Tribe for allowing me to serve in the capacity
that I have, thank you! If you know of anyone that needs our sup-
