The kindergarten class joined forces with the senior class of Siletz Valley Early College Academy to pass out roses and dentalium necklaces to the veterans. The third-grade class displays its paper- chain American flag (below). The flag now hangs at the American Legion Hall Post 116 in Newport, Ore. Happy 10 th Bir thday to Loren “Beansie” Holmes!
