Caring continues as Chinook Winds coordinates Operation Christmas Spirit Operation Christmas Spirit provides a free traditional Christmas dinner to our community every year on Christmas Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lincoln City Community Center. Planning has begun by Chinook Winds Casino Resort staff, supported by generous local support from volunteers and businesses. Thus far, a big “thank you!” goes to the Lincoln City Community Center for the use of its kitchen and ban- quet room and to North Lincoln Sanitary for free garbage pick-up after the event. The program still needs desserts to round out the tasty holiday meal. We’ve been able to count upon our generous bakers’ contributions in years past. This year, we expect nearly 500 people – or more – to stop in for a traditional hot Christmas dinner. If you would like to contribute a dessert, please drop it off at the Lincoln City Community Center on Dec. 24 from noon to 4 p.m. or on Christmas Day from 8 a.m. to noon. You can drop off any of these new items at Aces Sports Bar & Grill, Chinook Winds Marketing Department, Little Antique Mall, North Lincoln Sanitary, Kenny’s IGA North and the Lincoln City Community Center right through Christmas Eve. This annual event, created years ago by Betty Fry, feeds people that might oth- erwise have a bleak and hungry holiday or simply would otherwise be alone for 2015 SILETZ TRIBAL SALMON SEASON 2015/2016 HUNTING/FISHING INCENTIVES Reminder to all Siletz Tribal members: Please report all harvests of deer, elk and salmon to the Natural Resources Department. The name on the tag will be submitted into a drawing after the seasons end and could receive one of the following Cabela’s gift card incentives. Voter’s Pamphlet and Statement If you would like your candidate’s statement and photo to appear in the Voter’s Pamphlet, please submit your statement and recent 3x5 photograph of yourself along with your application.
