Courtesy photos Courtesy photos Congratulations to the SET All-Star Rookie team for taking first at the Newport McCurry tournament. You all deserve it. All of us parents and coaches know it was difficult, but we knew you all had it in you. Those long practices, the long drives to games and long hours out there waiting to see who we play next were well worth it. A special congratulations to Vincent Aviles Jr. Daddy and I are so proud of you, son. You worked your little behind off and took first place to prove it. Never say you can’t, we all pushed you because we knew you had it in you. Being an all- star is a wonderful opportunity. I would like to say thank you to all of the coaches: Coach Wazzy, Coach Brandon, Coach Buster, Coach Short, and Teacher Lori – without you, this wouldn’t have happened. Thank you for believing in my son and pushing him to become a great baseball player and for pushing me to be on time – hahaha. Thank you to those of you who came out and supported our boys. As the parents of Ashten Fisher and Zay Zay Garcia, we want to congratulate them on their exceptional baseball abilities. Ashten and Zay Zay played in the Lin- coln City tournament the weekend of July 11-12 for the Inn at Otter Crest. This group of boys played amazing, taking second place with one practice in place. We – Kyanna, Ben, Kassi and family – are all very proud of you boys. Keep up the good work!
