Liquid gas stoves and lanterns, such as Coleman, still can be used dur- ing the restrictions. Fireworks are prohibited every- where in the forest. The penalty for possessing fireworks can be as high as $5,000, imprisonment for up to six months or both. To report the illegal use of fire- works or unsafe fire use, visitors are asked to contact the Coastal Valley Interagency Dispatch Center at 541- 750-7024 or call 911.
