The Siletz Tribe celebrated the
completion of eight new apartments at
Neachesna Village with an open house
attended by Tribal Council members
and Lincoln City officials.
Participants in the ribbon-cutting
ceremony (right) included Sami Jo
Difuntorum, housing director; Teresa
Simmons, Chinook Winds and the
Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce
ambassadors; Robert Kentta, Sharon
Edenfield, Bud Lane and Tina Retasket,
Tribal Council; Susan Wahlke, chamber
ambassadors; Lillie Butler, Tribal
Council; Rob Smith, construction
coordinator; and Linda Roy, chamber
executive director.
The apartments (below) also have a
community room for gatherings.
