Anderson Headlines Comedy Show Blue Oyster Cult Blue dyster Cult and Foghat Rock the House at Chinook Winds Casino New York rock giant Blue Oyster Cult is set to blow the roof off of the Chinook Winds showroom July 23-24 with monster hits that include (Don’t Fear) The Reaper, Godzilla, Astronomy and Bumin’ for You. Rocking hard alongside for two great shows are British rockers Foghat. With seminal ’70s hits Slow Ride, I Just Want to Make Love to You and Fool for the City, these ear-buzzing shows will get your heart and fists pumping! Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets range from $15 to $30. Dave Anderson will headline Comedy on the Coast on July 16-17. Joining him onstage are Art Krug and J.P. Linde. Anderson currently is co-host of the highly rated Mark and Dave Show on 1190 KEX in Portland and co-host of the long-running morning television talk show AM Northwest on KATU. Additionally, his unique ability to blend clean, intelligent material with audi ence interaction has made him a favorite at corporate events and college campuses across America. The audience plays a major role in Anderson’s show. He has an amazing ability to turn ordinary conversa tions into hilarious comedy routines while Dave Anderson remaining clean and inoffensive. The Oregonian dubbed him “the quickest wit around.” The San Francisco Examiner said he was “relaxed, likeable and funny.” Willamette Week said, “He ad-libs better than most comedians write.” Because of his quick wit and audience rapport, no two shows are ever exactly alike. After earning a bachelor’s of arts degree from Whitworth College, Krug landed a prestigious position bussing tables at a Mexican restaurant in Portland, Ore. Then in March 1983, he decided he’d learned all he needed to know about the ratio of chips to salsa, so he took to the stage for his first live comedy performance. Within a year, Krug was headlining venues around the Northwest and into Canada. He most recently won the Bend (Ore.) Comedy Competition in April 2010. A regular at Harvey’s Comedy Club in Portland, Linde has appeared on Showtime’s Comedy Club Network. He is a single, divorced parent currently living in his mother’s basement and mistakenly believes himself to be the Web’s most eligible bachelor. Linde works the crowd and keeps the laughter going all night long. Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.
