TRIBAL PROGRAM NEWS Nesika lllahee Pow-Wow Royalty Crown Proposals Due The Pow-Wow Committee is now accepting proposals for the 2008-2009 Royalty Crowns, which are for Miss Siletz, Jr. Miss Siletz and Little Miss Siletz. All entries must be submitted with a proposed design, including color scheme, size of crown(s), size of beads and total cost. You can submit a proposal for as many crowns as you would like and they must be received no later than March 28, 2008. You can send proposals to: Siletz Pow-Wow Committee P.O. The Tribal Planning Department held a series of four community meet ings to get ideas from tribal members regarding what programs, facilities or services should be explored for grant opportunities. But it’s not too late to send them your ideas. “Send us your ideas in the mail." urged Naomi Shadwick, grant writer on the Planning staff. “Many people may not have been able to attend the meetings and we don't want to miss out on someone’s great ideas,’’ she said.
