This free art show will house dozens of fine wood carvers with their work on display for enjoyment and purchase. Demonstrations for children and adult carvers will teach the aspiring artists as well as lovers of the art. Ga-Young Kim earned the national title in women’s billiards in November at Chinook Winds Casino Resort. Kim, No. 3 in the world, had to beat both No. 1 -ranked Allison Fisher and No. 4- ranked Monica Webb in the semis to make it to the finals. There she battled No 9- ranked Vivian “Texas Tornado” Villarreal before winning the Cuetec Cues National 9-Ball Championships. Fans were not disappointed as Villarreal took on Korea’s No. 1 player, Kim. Villarreal went into the finals un defeated in the tournament and awaited her eventual opponent as Kim took on England’s Fisher. In the race to seven games, Kim out played Fisher 7 to 5 and then defeated Webb 7-4.
