On the first Monday of every month, stu dents in grades K-8 are recognized for at tendance, academic achievements, citi zenship, and positive behavior at our morning assembly. May 2005 Tiffany Dawn Stuart will compete for the title of Miss Haskell 2005-2006 at the pageant on May 2-6, 2005. The crown ing will take place May 13 at the Haskell Indian Nations University Commence ment Pow-Wow in Lawrence, Kan. Tiffany will be judged on public speak ing, essay, interview, traditional talent presentation, and impromptu questions. Miss Haskell is recognized as the in tertribal royalty of the university by rep resenting all students of Haskell Indian Nations University. Not only is Miss Haskell looked upon in good social stand ing, but also in excellent academic stand ing as well. She is unbiased and respect ful, whose values are upheld, and repre sentation of the people is top priority.
