All lodging must be coordinated through Chinook Winds’ executive hosts. All participants will receive a special tournament shirt. Upon purchasing a tournament ticket, the tournament player can select tournament times based on availability. Re-buys are allowed based on availability, but only the top two scores will be combined. An individual can earn only one spot in the semi-finals. All buy-ins will occur through the box office. Registration will begin at 10:30 a.m. on March 8. The first of 24 10-minute rounds will begin at 11:20 a.m., with 20 minutes between each round. The last round will begin at 7:40 p.m. Machine assignments will be drawn randomly. Each of the 156 participants will play in two 10-minute rounds. The scores from each round will be combined to establish their final score. Those players with the top 23 scores and the “wild card” drawing winner will advance to the semi-final rounds on March 9. The action on March 9 begins with the early bird drawing for $500 at 10:30 a.m., followed by the drawing for the “wild card” winner at 10:45 a.m. (must be present to win). Each of the 24 semi-finalists will have one chance to amass as many points as possible in one of the two semi-final rounds at 11 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. The top 12 players with the highest scores will move on to the final 15-minute round at 11:45 a.m. The player with the most points from the final round will be the first place winner, the player with the next highest point total will be the second place winner, and so on through 12,h place. Prizes range from $ 10,000 for first place to $2(K) for 12th place. Those placing 13th to 24,h will receive $ 100 each. The awards banquet for the top 24 qualifiers, at 2 p.m. on March 9 in the Rogue River Restaurant, will include a champagne brunch and prizes. The person with the lowest combined tournament scores on March 8 will receive a pair of tickets to an upcoming show. Free “Young at Heart” Senior Slot Tournament X 2 On March 4 and April 8, Chinook Winds will hold free Senior Slot Tournaments. Twelve participants per session will play in a tournament lasting five minutes. Sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and will continue every 15 minutes. The player with the most points from each session will be entered into the final round of 12 players at noon. The total $ 1 ,(XX) prize money will be divided among eight winners who will receive from $20 to $250. Participation is limited to the first 144 players who sign up. The tournaments will be held on Senior Tuesday, which features a specially priced senior breakfast in the buffet along with other senior specials. Full Moon Slot Tournaments Return The Full Moon Slot Tournaments were such a howling success that they're back with one full moon tournament scheduled each month. Have a hauntingly good time and celebrate the full moon at Chinook Winds' Full Crow Moon Slot Tourney on March 18. Entry begins at I a.m. Rounds take place every 20 minutes beginning at 1:20 a.m. and continuing until 3 a.m. The prize round will take place at 3:30 a.m. Between 3 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., a drawing will be held for all entrants who didn't make it into the final round. The drawing winner will be eligible for a seventh available seat in the prize round. Entry is free with a Winner's Circle card; first come, first play. Prizes will be awarded from first to sixth place, with a top prize of $500 and a total prize pool of $ 1,5(M) (may be adjusted). March 2603 Winner’s Circle Free Slot Tournaments Winner’s Circle members are invited to take part in monthly free slot tournaments on March 19 and April 16. Entry begins at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Rounds take place every 20 minutes beginning at 10:20 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. (10:20 a.m., 10:40, 11, 11:20, 11:40, and noon; and 5:20 p.m., 5:40, 6, 6:20, 6:40, and 7). The prize round will take place at 7:30 p.m, Entry is free with a Winner’s Circle card; first come, first play. The total prize pool of $2,800 (may be adjusted) will be paid out to the top 12 players as follows: first - $1,000; second - $500; third - $400; fourth - $300; fifth - $200: sixth - $100; seventh to 12th - $50 each.
