LETTERS TO THE EDITOR To the editor: To the general manager, Brenda Bremner; Siletz Tribal Council; clinic director, Judy Muschamp; Siletz Community Health Clinic; Dr. Randall Teich, and Dental staff: I feel like I need to tell you about my experience with SCHC’s Dental Department. Those folks over there went way out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at ease with their procedures that started many months ago. For their efforts, I have a million dollar smile and all because of the great dental staff you employ. You guys (meaning you, the GM, and your Tribal Council), always get notes and letters about what’s wrong with all your politics and such, and I feel this is a great and wonderful story to share with you. I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to have access to such a good health facility that you offer this community. Once again, those folks deserve recognition for their professionalism, patience, and drive to give the best dental care possible to their patients. And once again, I want to thank your great SCHC Dental Department. Respectfully, Mary Dederick To the editor: I am a tribal elder. I am 72 years old. I signed up for wood. We have young tribal members who work for Forestry. They brought me wood and it was all knots.
