Fisher Named Employee of the Year
Mona Fisher was selected as the Employee of the Year for 2001 at the Siletz
Tribe’s annual employee holiday party in December.
Bev Youngman nominated Mona for this award. Her nomination read, in
part, “Beginning as a Programs clerk, Mona gradually took on greater duties,
which is not to say she can be taken advantage of. She is simply one of those rare
individuals that will do anything and everything to help other people, both in her
job and private life. Literally, for Mona, no job is too small or too large for her to
undertake ... With her demonstrated strong work ethic and caring and sharing
attitude, both the tribe, co-workers, and the community benefit from this
extraordinary person.”
Other individuals receiving incentive awards include:
Employee of the Quarter: Judy Muschamp
Superior Accomplishments: Laura Bremner, Kristi Martin-Bayya,
Programs 2 Staff - Rusty Butler, Ramona Fisher, Robert Kentta, Sonya Moody-
Jurado, Selene Rilatos, Nick SixkiIler, Craig Whitehead, Amiee Williams, George
Nagel, and Tami Miner
Outstanding Service: Sara Bell, Caroline Easter
