PASSAGES Tribal member Dolores Navarro, originally of Salem, and Chris Waddell, originally from Longview, Wash., are proud to announce their marriage, which took place on May 26 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Lincoln City. Chris and Dee met at Chinook Winds Casino when they both worked in the temporary facility (tent) in 1995. Chris remained an employee of Chinook Winds until recently and Dolores (Dee) is the Winner’s Circle manager at the casino. Chris is now an insurance agent and manages the Lincoln City office of American Family Insurance. Happy 5,h Birthday to my very special baby boy, Nahcoma Michael. I love you so much. Great-great-grandmother is Beaulah (Granny) Strickler. Shyla Ann, it seems just like yesterday that we were holding our beautiful newborn baby girl in our arms. Now we’re holding your son, our precious first grandson. We remember the girl who said, I’m not babysitting, no thanks to holding a baby, and are you crazy when asked to change a diaper. Samantha is a graduate of Oregon State University, a doctoral student, and a sign language interpreter. Terry is a graduate of Oregon State University and is the owner and proprietor of Royal Masonry. The wedding is planned for July 8, 2001, at 1 p.m. at the Dance House in Siletz, Ore.
