Basketball Tournament a Success
During spring break in March, the
Siletz Tribe hosted teams from
Muckleshoot, Suquamish, and
Chiloquin at the Siletz Residents’
Organization Spring Basketball
Tournament 2001. Participants ranged
in age from grades four to 12.

USDA has been very busy! We would like to welcome our new workers on
board. Donna Elgin is a very hard worker and very pleasant to work with. Keep

Also, we would like to thank Leonard Flanary Sr. and Ronald Jordan for
their hard work in Siletz. We also would like to thank our Salem workers —

Siletz Tribal Police Chief Norm Counts (I) congratulates Officer Ken Real
following Real’s graduation from the Basic Police Class in Monmouth, Ore.
Real was among 35 individuals who graduated in March and one of three
graduates from tribal police or public safety departments. He now patrols on
the Siletz Reservation and in the city of Siletz.
