PASSAGES Isaiah Ben Oakley was born on March 7, 2000. He is the son of Christopher Ben and Leanne Oakley. The proud grandparents are Gerald and Jackie Ben, Elizabeth Vega, and Chuck Oakley. The great-grandparents are Ed and Delores Ben. Isaiah’s great-great grandparents are Archie and Victoria Ben. Congratulations to Darcy and Mike Lal on the birth of their son, Brendan Elias Taidje Lal, born May 18, 2000. Brendan weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long. Darcy is the Head Start clerk in Siletz and Mike works at Chinook Winds Casino in the VLT Department. Proud grandparents are Tina and Jack Retasket, Robert and Brenda Jones, and Priscilla Subadra Lal and the late Amos Lal. Great- grandparent is William Pullam. Welcome to the tribe, Brendan! He was born at Pacific Communities Hospital on April 26, 2000 at 4:12 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 21 * inches long. Isaac joins his siblings Halona, Brother, and Bobby. His grandparents are Reggie and Lillie Butler of Siletz and Bob and Leah Tom of Keizer. His great-grandparents are “Old Papa” Alton Butler of Siletz, Sam Hoffman of Portland, and “Green Gramma” Francis Longley of Anchorage, Alaska. Welcome, sweet boy!
