8 Summer 2014 Applegater Low flows forecasted on the Applegate River Currently there is little snowpack in the Applegate Watershed. This may result in diminished flows in tributaries and the main stem of the Applegate River this summer. In this event, junior water rights whose source is live flow would be regulated off. If you depend on the Applegate Reservoir storage for primary or supplemental water for irrigation, make sure your U.S. Bureau of Reclamation contracts for use of stored water are current. To verify if your contract for use of stored water is current, contact Bill Parks with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation at 208-378-5344. Burn reminder Before burning outdoors any time of year, check with your fire district to make sure that day is an official burn day and not a NO burn day.
