The tour isn’t exactly 100 percent family friendly considering one of the stops, kiddy comer to Darcelle’s, is the launching point of a story about three of Portland’s most famous brothel owners. Another fun fact I learned: as of 2005 it is legal to have live sex shows in Portland. No one has taken ad vantage of this fact, because as far as Portland’s busty sex business goes there’s no reason to push their luck with going “that far.” Sex wasn’t the only thing on our tour guides mind though, on the 85 degree afternoon stride we also Kayla Calloway Clackamas Print stopped at one of Portland’s most Tour guide Herb Spice checks to see if the builiding is wrought iron or fiberglass. So it sounds like he has his plans set up for a rocking good time this summer with his partying. “Going to summer school,” Carmen Carazos, a Clackamas student, said when asked what she planned to do this sum mer. It sounds like Carvazos’ plans on continuing her educa tion through the summer, get the jump start on her degree, and she said, “Yeah, I don’t mind schools. I like school.” So the summer sounds like it will be a continuation of edu cation for her. That isn’t all Carvazos plans to do this summer though. “Have fun with my dogs.” Carvazos also plans on vis iting with her husband’s fam ily, who lives close by. So, folks can party, further education, or visit with fam- ily and friends. Although it is Oregon, so that means much more than just hanging out at a friend’s place with the music blaring. Oregon is an outdoors state, so there is plenty to do outside of the city or suburb or local park. Amanda Fox and Jason Vic tor, both Clackamas students, both do the work deal for the summer, but they also plan on going camping in July out at Boulder Lake. So, with the possibilities out there those range from camp ing at Mt. Hood to kicking back at a friend’s place. There seems to be plenty of things to do this upcoming summer. Be sure to take some time off work and plan something fun for summer. The next school term seems to always to be better when one has great sto ries to swap with friends about summer vacation.
