“The difference between

But Tank still enjoys
Gutierrez’s teaching. So much,
in fact, he even enrolled his
photography-minded son in the
class.
Tank refers to Gutierrez as
his mentor, saying, “He’s taught
me a lot.”
“If a student wants to take
this class, I’ll teach them what
I can and how to do it right,”
states Gutierrez.
, “I think this class is very
interesting,” said student Brett
Gitter. “If you’re interested
in photography, I think this
class will make your creativity
soar.”

del periodo escolar y nueva­

español.
Muchas gracias por sus bril­
lantes ideas aportadas y tam­
bién sus llamadas gracias a
todo eso este periodo escolar
también se publicara una vez
mas esta sección y talvez en un
futuro no muy lejano llegar a
ser un periódico bilingüe.
Al iniciar esté año millones
de acontecimientos han marca­
do una pauta en nuestras vidas,
eventos con los que hemos dis­
frutado y muchos otros de los
cuales nos hemos lamentado,
pero cuando algo denigra a
nuestra comunidad Hispana
estamos ahí para apoyamos y
brindar nuestra colaboración.
Estoy hablando de esa
guerra civil que algunos ciu­
dadanos americanos habitantes
de la frontera están haciendo
contra los inmigrantes, estoy
hablando de ese grupo de hom­
bres que por el simple hecho de
ser ciudadanos en este país se
creen con derecho de privar de
las libertades y derechos huma­
nos a inmigrantes que cruzan la
frontera.
Un grupo llamado “The
minute man patriots” que abar­
ca más de 1000 voluntarios,
civiles americanos que se dedi­
can a arrestar a todo inmigrante
que cruza por la frontera, estos
hombres se excusan en la idea
de que todos aquellos inmi­
grantes son terroristas.
Diciendo que para el afio
2025 gente ilegal dominara
la población de este país, y
después de eso estos ilegales
tendrán mas fuerza política y
social que los propios nacidos
aquí. Se hacen llamar un grupo
en defensa de América o tam­
bién “Neighborhood Watch.”
Ellos argumentan que así
como otros grupos terroristas
se infiltraron para atacar las
torres gemelas en el atentado
de septiembre 11, así otros
inmigrantes podrían atacarlos
de nuevo y por eso ellos se qui­
eren prevenir. Se respaldan en
la idea de que todo inmigrante
que cruza la frontera no tiene
un record de salud en este país
y podría traer consigo extra­
fias enfermedades que podrían
causar peligro inminente a la
comunidad Americana. Por lo
cual demandan al gobierno y al
congreso medidas más drásti­
cas para parar la inmigración
hacia este país, así como tam­
bién prometen expandirse a
todo lo largo de las fronteras
con México y así ellos tener un
mejor control que el que tiene el
gobierno de inmigración.
Es aberrante la idea de que
civiles tomen la pauta en la situ­
ación de inmigración, por que es
gente que esta haciendo sus pro­
pias conclusiones y arrestando a
hispanos sin antes haber sido
capacitados para enfrentarse a
una situación así, ninguno de
ellos nos puede garantizar que
no van a lastimar a ninguno de
nuestros paisanos, no tenemos
la certeza de que alguno de ellos
puede morir siendo arrestado
por esos hombres, por que este
grupo tiene furia, y enojo de
que nuestra comunidad pudiera
superarlos algún día. El arrestar
a inmigrantes no los hace ser
mejores patriotas lo único que
provoca es que la comunidad
hispana se una mas y luche mas
fuerte por salir adelante en este
país.
El gobierno no apoya a este
grupo por el momento pero
no sabemos mafiana que es lo
que podría pasar, por lo mismo
levantemos la voz y escribamos
cartas al congreso o simplemente
cortamos la voz a nuestros pai­
sanos que se encuentran allá
para no arriesgarse a cruzar la
frontera y talvez ser envestidos
por este grupo de personas que
tal vez podrían hacerles daño.
Como hispanos con­
ocemos las leyes de este país y
sabemos también nuestros dere­
chos y por lo mismo entende­
mos que el cruzar ilegalmente
no esta permitido pero al menos
quisiéramos un poco de dig­
nidad.
