place looked as clean as a bar pos
sibly could. On a scale of one to
10, we would rate Sneaker’s a six.
Dr. John’s Pub, in downtown
Oregon City, was our next stop.
This is a local hangout that caters
to a younger crowd (think 20-
something). This pub not only has
a frill bar, but great prices during
happy hour, which is 4-7 p.m. dur
ing weekdays.
Unlike some bars with their
unimaginative menus, Dr. John’s
rotates their menu daily. They
also boast one of the few internet
jukeboxes in the area, with more
than 40,000 songs to choose from.
And if the internet jukebox isn’t
enough, Dr. John’s also offers pool
tables and video poker to keep
patrons busy.
Later on, we continued our
“Crunk Fest ’05” at Archie’s in
downtown Lake Oswego. Stay
away from this bar unless you want
to do some alcohol-fiieled study
ing. This place has nightly happy
hour specials, but that was about it.
Archie’s, however, is a good place
to go—if you want to end the night
with some water. When Nic tried
to order a “crunk juice” (Hennessy
and Redbull), the bartender looked
at him like he was Kobe stand

Tyson at a Buster
Douglas party. If a bar
don’t carry pineapple
juice, then it just don’t
produce.
For those people
who live in the Canby
area, you too can get
drunk for low, low
prices. The Denny’s
Lounge is a very popu
lar spot for happy hour.

So now if in the need
