Moments later, the Cougars scored again, when Rodriguez put on a picturesque move on a Treasure Valley defender and lobbed the ball into the goal box. Ashley Webster was able to put a foot onto the pass from Rodriguez to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead heading going into halftime. ’ * Rodriguez added her second goal in the second half to give tiie undefeated Cougars a well- deserved win. The Cougars will face Spokane College in their semi final game this Saturday. Like Treasure Valley, Spokane is from the Northeast Division of the NWAACC. “We got a good idea how the North division plays,” Nelson said. “They’re big, aggressive and direct.” Clackamas will be the No. 1 team out of the four remaining teams in the postseason. Northeast Division Champion, Walia Walla CC, lost in their quarterfinal game to Tacoma CC. Coach Nelson was surprised to see that Walla Walla lost, but as she has said before, anything can happen in the playoffs. “[This weekend] we have to come out and play the best we have played all year. All the lit tle things become so big, and one mistake can cost you the game,” Nelson said. Heading into the final week end of the season, the Cougars are healthy and ready to bring home their first NWAACC championship. The only injury concern comes from Medurri. Late in the second half of Saturday’s win, Medurri was elbowed in the face by an oppo nent and was forced to leave the field and head to the hospital. Medurri should be ready to play this weekend, despite the stitch es she received under her left eye. The team said they would like to thank all the fans who showed up to cheer them on in their quarterfinal victory. Haluska says he’s butting heads a little with Cook because Cook wants to wrestle despite his shoulder, but his injury, according to Coach Martindale, is one that still needs some time to heal. Clackamas will be hosting a dual meet against North Idaho tomorrow in Randall Hall at 7 p.m., and will be head ed to Southern Oregon University on Saturday.
