day Night Lights” is a capti-
and powerful story about a
¡hoof football team that put
ban sweat, grass, and blood
in their jerseys; they put
their hearts into the game.
Personally, I am not a huge football
fan, and I know very little about
the game, but “Friday Night
Lights” grasped my attention.
This story takes you inside the
lives of the young football players,
and shows you how this game is

more than their life, for some it
holds their future. The movie
shows you every side of each
player’s personality; you get to
see the football star, the son, the
friend, and the seventeen-year-
olds in all of them.
Being undefeated, the team’s
goal is to win the state champi
onship. With college scouts
watching and the whole commu
nity cheering them on, the pres
sure to be “perfect” grows larger
and larger. The team puts their
all into every practice, and
strives to win every game.
This movie really takes you
into the life of a seventeen-year-
old. I liked it because it shows
adults, possibly parents, that
like their lives, being a teenager
can be overwhelming. It’s a time
where you’re trying to figure out
who you are and what your
future holds for you.
This movie did a superb job dis
playing the latter and die pressures
that high school students undertake.
All in all, this movie was
powerful, breath-taking, and
most of all, inspiring. “Friday
Night Lights” deserves your full
attention from start to finish.
