The Clackamas Print February 5, 2003 Former student Daniels leaves friends^ family behind after fatal car accident Joyel Ruth Daniels, a former Clackamas student died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, due to injuries sus tained in a car accident. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Mulino Community Baptist Church. Daniels, 27, was bom Nov. 17, 1975 in Seoul, South Korea. At eight months old she was adopted through the Holt Adoption Agency in Eugene. She has lived in the Canby- Beavercreek area since she was a young child. Daniels graduated from the New Covenant Christian School in Oregon City. She began her college education as a music student at Clackamas in 1993 and graduated in 1996. She was an accomplished pianist and Lonnie Cline’s accompa nist for his Chamber and Clackamas Chorale. In 1999 she earned a Bachelor of Arts in music theory and com position, a Bachelor of Arts in music ministry, and a Bachelor of Science in business and music from Warner Pacific College. Daniels was very active in the 4-H program at the county and state level. She earned master showman awards as an intermediate and senior at the Clackamas County Fair. She was known for her spirit of competi tion and sportsmanship. Her passion was her music and her faith. She worked at Music Man Studios in Wilsonville for nine years, and was a member of the Mulino Community Baptist Church. Daniels met her husband Robert Oun at a bible study group in 1995, and they were married Sept 17, 1999. Survivors include her husband, parents Kermit and Carol, and sister Kailyn Mae of Beavercreek, brother Steven Jim of Milwaukie, grand mother Myrtle Daniels of Canby, three nieces and one great-niece. The family suggests that memo rials be made to the music depart ment at Warner Pacific College in Southeast Portland. This will be the moment That I will cherish for all time. And I will remember your face; An eternity from now until Heaven’s gate. I will always see you in this place. 1 will always see you here. Time was stolen from us; 7/ be in my heart. When I see you again; You’ll be in my heart until then. W? will miss your smile. We will miss your warmth. We will miss your touch.
