The next season, Clackamas made it all the way to the confer ence championship before losing to none other than Umpqua. According to the conference's coaches polls, the Cougars didn't upset anybody in their region and they didn't get upset by anybody. Three Southern Region schools were ranked in the top eight. Clackamas finished fourth behind those three teams. For the year, freshman Amanda Lee led Clackamas with an aver age of 13 points per game, while freshman Mercedes Juarez aver aged 11.2 ppg.
