Question: What expectations do you have for the ASG president?
“They should work to try to improve the col
lege. Maybe try to find out what students are
lacking or needing. They should tty to improve
our environment, better learning environment.
He could try to organize activities for students
to get together and get to know each other.”

to see more sports type of things, activities
where you are out and about, where you could
just hang out with people.”

good, programs like intramural sports and stuff
like that.”

on campus is the price of books and stuff.. This is a
very nice campus and they take really good care of
it, but that’s basically the only thing that affects me
right now, the price of books.”

“A student body president has first of all got to
address all the students.. He’s got to be visible,
dedicated...! expect 100% dedication to the
students, to the college, to upholding the college
values.. .Student government is basically a
liaison between the students and the college
itself as an institution, and I believe that... .As a
student body president you are, the primary
voice, you are the one who represents them as
an entirety.. .and I want to be a friend because
that’s what it all boils down to. If a student
body president doesn’t have any heart and any
true dedication and it’s simply just something to
put on a resume, then they’re not going to be
good for it. They’ve got to-have true heart and
passion for it.”
