8 H-iE CI ac I camas P rìnt Cougar Classic Clackamas continues success, qualifies 29 for championships JOHN THORBURN This Saturday, Clackamas will hold its first annual Cougar Classic Basketball Tournament. Competition begins at 10 a.m. and will be held in Randall Gym. Spectator admission is free for the day-long event. Softball Slow pitch softball leagues are now forming for play beginning May 27. Two ¿visions [ASA, D and E] will be offered with a limit of eight teams in each division. "D" division games will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. "E" division games will be held Mondays and Wednesdays. The league format includes a com plete round robin of weekly double headers, plus a League Championship Tournament. Each team is guaranteed 16 games. Team entry fee: $470 covers ex penses for ASA umpires, field use/ preparation, weekly results/standings and awards. For more information call ext. 2298. Spring into Fitness The second annual "Spring into Fit ness" Walk and Run will be held Sun day, May 3rd at 2 p.m. All ages are welcome in the free event.
