As a boy his fhther was killed and he was raised by his uncle. He returns to his birth place many years later with the not following the rules of the king. Throughout the movie, there are a number of battles in which the Scots are always outmatched by the English. Despite the uneven odds, the Scots manage to win each battle under the leadership of Wallace, sometimes using unor thodox tactics including moon ing the English across the battle field.
