Dan McCue is the newly
hired Community Relations Com­
munications Specialist for the col­
lege.
McCue has been working in
community relations since last
September, sharing a public in­
formation specialist position.
In the new position, he will
be the staff writer for the
college’s external and internal
communications.
McCue will be writing for
■ various newsletters on campus, as
well as trying his hand at grant
writing.
“I will be representing the
college to the community,” said
McCue, who will also be writing
some ad copy and dealing with
publicity and media relations.
A correspondent for The Or­
egonian for six years, McCue es­
tablished a relationship with the
college covering Oregon City and
Clackamas Community College
for the South Metro bureau.

He was also a reporter for
The World, a daily paper in Coos
Bay, for two years.
His interest in journalism
began during his junior year at
Willamette University.
McCue received his
bachelor’s degree in English and
American
Studies
from
Willamette in 1983, then took
years off to work for
