The benefit features a live band and takes place Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Gregory Forum. Children are welcome, cost of admission is $5. For further information, call David Mount at ext. 2604. The Tony Award winning musical “Into the Woods” will be performed at the college Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Admission for the production, presented by the Theatre Arts and Music Departments, is $10 for the general public, $5 for students and free for seniors with reservations. For more information, call Barbara Bragg at ext. 2356. The End of Spring Book Buy Back will begin Monday at the Clackamas Bookstore. Books from Spring Term, plus previous terms will be considered for buy back. A student I.D. is required. For buyback hours, call the bookstore at ext. 2248. There will be a dialogue on ancient forests and timber harvests today at noon in the Gregory Forum. Representatives from the National Wildlife Federation and the Northwest Forestry Associa tion will be discussing the issue. Joe Uris, Clackamas Instructor, will moderate the event. The focus of the evening was to honor the recipients of Clackamas Com munity College scholarships for the 1993-94school year. The Oregon Trail Speakers Series: Settling in Oregon continues Monday at 7 p.m. in the Environmental Learning Center Education Hall. Admission is $1 for adults and 50 cents for students. Entries must be five minutes or under in length and express the theme: “One Person can Make A Differ ence.” Thousands of dollars in prize money will be awarded. The deadline is June. Ralph Saperstein, vice president for operations with the North west Forestry Association. Joe Uris, sociology instruc tor, radio talk show host and newly-elected president of the Clackamas Faculty Senate, will moderate the debate. “It will be hot and nasty and down and dirty,’’Uris said. “Ralph Saperstein is a powerful advocate for the forest product industry. Rick Brown gave the most elo quent presentation at the Forest Summit for President Clinton.” Both candidates are consid ered experts in their respective fields, and are expected to be worthy adversaries. “It should be very interesting because several students here (CCC) have families that áre dependant on the forest product industry.
