'S Super Van” not very super By Vickie Josi Staff Writer Booths still available There are still openings available for those interested in having a booth at the Spring Fair at Clackamas Community College on May 19 through 22. The booths range from information to arts and crafts and applications may be obtained from the student activities office at 656-2631, ext. 340. The Spring Fair will also feature musical performances, athletic events and competi tion, the spring drama production of "Come Blow Your Horn", and other activities. Acting team performs Schizoid Plus, Clackamas Community Col lege's impromptu acting team, will per form tomorrow at noon for students and public in the Community Center Mall. The eight-member company, supervised by Roby Robinson, CCC theatre department technical director, will perform a take-off of a speech class during a demonstration speech improvisation. Schizoid Plus will continue their term's performances Friday, May 20, at noon in the CC Mall and conclude June 3 at the all school picnic. The only thing that's 'super' about the movie "Super Van", is in the name. The acting and plot was about as intensifying as the three stooges, and doesn't par up to the quality of ama teur home movies. The so called 'super' van was prob ably out of some unrealistic cosmic comic. But there were some really "trick" custom painted vans, which were about the only worthwhile viewing of the entire movie. "Super Van" is the old basic the- good-guy-always-wins-and-gets-the-girl- John to show works Paintings, drawings and watercolors by Leland John, Clackamas Community Col lege art instructor, will be on exhibit in the CC Mall May 9 through 20.
