ASG officers to meet I discuss Newly-elected student government sen ators will attend their first ASG meeting this week to discuss such topics as mari juana law reform, student committee parti cipation and campus clubs. The meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m. in the Fireside lounge, CC Mall. The new senators are Michael Ralls, James Cooper, Thomas Blethen, John Umbras, Candace Schwabauer, Deborah Schwab, Don Bixler, Ken Roberts, Maureen Kearney, Kitty Sellman, Brian Peters, Larry Granger, Deb bie Bottorff, Debbie Griffin, Marsha Kun- Maureen Kearney Page 12 kel, and Lea Ranck. The student body is not only involved in ASG. Charlie Bennett, ASG Vice Presi dent, will lead discussion about the possi bility of the formation of a chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Legislation (NORML). Jerry Bellavita, assistant to the ASG Presi dent is seeking student participation for committees on campus. Those interested may contact Bellavita at student govern ment office ext. 257. The committees are Arboretum & Ecology Learning center; In struction Co-ordination- committee, and a Long-range planning committee.
