Her family then relo cated to Los AngeleS. She lived there 1976 when she moved to Oregon.., , She is a mother of two, a son who is a senior at Canby High School and an adopted daughter in the sixth grade who is from Costa Rica. Burbridge enjoys to travel to Latin and Central America when she is not working at Clackamas. “I believe that there is a connection between all the people on the earth and I enjoy the culture and the different foods,” Burbridge said. by Briane C. Dotson Staff writer • Ellen Burbridge is a new counselor here at Clackamas Community College. Burbridge has worked at the college for nine years. Her past jobs have been a classified employee, community devel oper, instructor and department chairperson for alternative programs. She also does pri vate consulting and. training in human relations management. In the past Burbridge has been a counselor at Parrot Creek Ranch and at Portland State University, where she received her masters degree. “It is an experience to work On campus,” Burbridge said.
