It shows the student is willing to be^dven turous,” stated Magdalena Ladd, chairperson international education-foreign languages, about going overseas for college students. The International Cooperative Education pro gram, which is offered by Clackamas Community Col lege, provides students with the opportunity to work in a foreign country and live with a host family. The college works through the Northwest International Education Association, which is dedicated to the promotion of international and intercultural education. They are comprised of over 30 colleges and univer sities in the Western United States. “It’s a good worthwhile pro gram.
